What's your study day routine?

Just wondering what your routine is like the days you have to study for your course?
Do you have certain times that you put your children to bed and do study or do you have them in care?? I just wanted to get a little bit of an idea so I can try and do something similar...

This is how my study routine goes....
DS goes to bed around 10ish so I usually try and pull the books out for an hour at least a few days a week. Wednesdays my mum looks after him for the day so I either go to the uni library or just the local library for a few hours or more if I have an assignment. Next semester I'm taking on another unit so I'll prob get mum or MIL to take him another full day. Sometimes if I'm desperate I'll do a bit on the rare occasion that DS has a nap in the afternoon but I usually like to keep this for 'me' time or salvage the warzone that is my house

It's probably not the most user friendly study routine but I get things done, I can sleep when DS moves out!

Sounds like a really good way of organising your study days! unfortunately we dont have the luxury of either my mum or his mum living near us so our babysitting options are not much at the moment! with DS sleep habits of an early morning it's pretty draining on me at the moment especially pregnant as well I wish I did have the help thats for sure!

Mine is when ever i get the chance...
I know not much help, but life is a little hectic... I try to make sure all the kids are in bed by 1930 so I can get a few hours done then... During the day if i can manage to get my younger two to sleep at the same time, i try do some reading for an hour...

when the kids are in bed and DH isnt home i study or i have 3 days when they are in CC that i can get it done.

Although i am the queen of procrastination and leave it to the last minute and so then if the kids are home they have a movie morning

Mine are all over the place with holidays so I've let the kids play outside a lot the past 2 days to get stuff done because I have an assignment due tomorrow. But normally when kids are at school I get all the housework done first thing, then do and hour or so before lunch, if DS2 has a sleep in the afternoon I can hook in and get a lot done and then stop from 4.30 when the older kids get home till after they go to bed. 2 nights a week are dedicated live chat nights with my lecturer so I only study on those nights and the other nights plus weekends are family time.

I usually study during his day sleep. If the study pressure is on for an assignment then we live in a bomb site for a while as I spend next to no time cleaning. I can't seem to get much done in an evening- my brain is generally much by then so that's "my" time. Then the weekend before an assignment is generally dedicated to all of us staying at home while my H takes full care of our son and I hide in the bedroom doing the assignment last minute. I generally only work under pressure anyway so I've given up pretending I'll be more prepared before an assignment is due in future!
