Last Sunday morning at 3am Miss J started vomiting & continued for around six hours & then was fine. Nappies were fine, it was just the vomiting & it went as quick as it came. Now this morning I'm up with Mr Z throwing up. Same thing, has been fine then just all of a sudden vomiting from an hour ago.
Neither have eaten anything out of the ordinary so I have no idea where this is coming from. Any ideas?
Charlotte did that the night we moved into our new house - it was so scary! And then it was gone by night time the next day.
No yucky nappies, nothing else, just vomitting and a little sooky.
Perhaps it is just a tummy bug?
That probably isn't helpful! lol *hugs* I hope they are better soon.

DD had something similar the last weekend, Sunday night after dinner she vomitted everywhere and then was fine, then Monday night she did the same thing- and has been fine ever since. I put it down to a bit of heat stroke on the Sunday night, and just general tiredness on the monday, as there was no other explanation- no temp, no runs nothing.
My DS had been vomiting recently and we put it down to heat. When he would get high fever or (as he sweats terribly) in the middle of the night he would be sick. He had an ear infection at the time however.
Sarah, we have had the same thing in our house last week. My kids woke up fine, Lily even ate some toast and milk before she threw it up everywhere! For her it was about 15hrs she was sick, for Liam it was about 6ish hours, then all of a sudden they were fine! There was no fever or other symptoms of being sick. I took Lily to the doc and he said it was just a viral thing. Keep her hydrated and get her to rest. That's it! Hope your LO's are better soon, it's horrible when they're sick
It might be a bit of gastro? My DS1 was fine and then all of a sudden started vomitting in the late afternoon yesterday. He was fine by bedtime. We had friends over the night before and their 3yo vomitted while eating dinner, then was off running around straight afterwards, completely fine. I'm guessing it's a mild gastro virus going around?
Strange that your kids had it a week apart though!
So far so good, he finally got to bed at 4.30am & has slept ever since, so we'll see when he wakes.
It's just the strangest thing. Easter last year was our first ever bought of gastro & since then we've had four or five. Even then, the only time DH & I got sick was when we had the really bad case the first time, otherwise it's vomitting for up to six hours then all good ???
Doesn't sound like gastro. It could just be a good old fashioned 24 hour stomach bug. I used to get them as a kid (always EXACTLY 12 months apart!) and DD has had a couple in recent months. No other symptoms and goes as quickly as it comes. nothing you can do for it except comfort and reassure...
