DH and ebay DO NOT mix!!

Last night I received a payment not received dispute for an item DH had purchased on ebay. I replied to the seller saying that the item was paid for and we had received it as well as feedback from him.

THEN I looked further into it and foudn that DH had purchased 2 of the same item from different sellers and only paid for 1! He doesn't need 2 of the items!! DH said he was unaware he had purchased 2 items HOW on earth would he be Unaware??? In order to buy things on ebay you go through several steps!!

Anyway, I emailed the seller and asked if he'd let me pay the listing and final value fees in order to avoid a strike. I hope he accpets my offer because I don't want to pay another $70 for things we don't need.

Does anyone know how many unpaid item strikes it takes to be deregistered from ebay and is there a time limit on them? (I think I already have 1 strike but don't knwo how long ago that was)
