Smile What "priceless" advice would you offer for travelling with a 18month old?

We are travelling to Bali April 21st for 24 days
This will be our first trip overseas with our son. He will be 18 months old then and I need ideas and advice

Does everywhere have disposable nappies? We are going to Bali, Thought I would take a packet and buy more there... anyone been there or done this before?

Bottle #1 = One large bottle of alcohol.
Bottle #2 = One large bottle of Phenergan.

Try part of Bottle #2 on Child.
If he doesn't sleep, add remnants of Bottle #2 to Bottle #1 and consume yourself.
Then you won't care about what happens next!

    Seriously...

Make sure you have a fabulous First Aid kit. Make sure you've had your vaccinations. And stay somewhere you know will have an English speaking doctor on hand.

And don't forget your travel insurance!

    Have an awesome time!

A baby carrier if you don't already have one. One where bub can go on your back, like bub's a backpack. Will make any hiking, wandering, markets, that much easier.

    Lol Divvy, amen to that!

I was going to say a carrier too. We travel a lot and one of our trips DH forgot the carrier - he didn't get to foget about it either - mighty hard when you have to lug around 2 small people..

If your nappy bag is the over the shoulder type, try and get a backpack or one of those ones you sling over your body (I know there's a name but I have no idea what it is at this time of night). I have an Allerhand one and I can Carry Nate in the carrier and still have that slung over - then lucky me still two hands to deal with Darcy and all her paraphernalia....

not sure about the nappies though sorry.
