Where can I buy "overpants" (like bloomers) to cover a nappy?

LOL I don't know what to call them!

DD loves wearing dresses but they don't always come with matching little pants.

Not only do think it looks nicer to have the little pants over the nappy, rather than seeing her nappy when she bends over etc...but it stops her from pulling the nappy off. A new little trick she has learned...

Is there anywhere I can just buy little pants that will fit over a nappy? Kind of like bloomers, I guess...that's what we called them at school!

Sigh...everyone I know raves on about how much easier girls are to dress than boy but I heartily disagree! Shorts, t-shirts, jeans...so simple!! DD gets cranky if I dress her like that...don't know where she gets it from, I'm not terribly girly!

I saw bonds make some knickers type thingos for over nappies. I saw them in Big W. was a while back but most likely will still be there. Will ask my friend where she got her DD's from

I just use the smallest kids knickers I can find (I think that's a size 2) and cover DD's nappy with plain coloured ones when she's wearing a dress.

You can get a pack of three plain white nappy cover type pants from Big W. They go with any dress whatsoever. I've had the same problem with both my DD's. The pack is about $3-$4. SO cheap. I bought about four packets. You can get from size 0 to 3. They are in the cloth nappy section. They are cotton and look like undies but thicker material if that makes sense. They're in a plastic packet with each pair rolled up. HTH

I had the same problem with DD's dresses - most of them came without bloomers! I finally found a frilly white pair on the clearance rack at Target for $1.06 - random bargain price! After buying them, they suddenly seemed to be everywhere! I found boutique baby shops had a lovely but expensive range and our CBD Myer had a great collection. They have a big, well stocked baby department which is much bigger than our suburban stores.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only mum to have trouble finding these!

I just received an order from Ruffle Butts - an American company, available online (where I ordered) or some spesh baby shops stock them.
The quality appears to be really good, material soft & washable and lots of fashionable colours/patterns.
With the US dollar being so competative at the moment I thought it was a goood opportunity to get some o/s stuff.

Am about to google oobi bloomers though ...
