So far about 5kgs for me. With DD I had put on 10 kgs by now so have done better this time than last time.
You are definately not alone hunny, don't worry about it too much, you're growing a beautifully healthy little bubba in there. You will loose the weight once bub arrives and wont have a problem in doing so.
Oh and Congratulations on the HUGE loss before falling preg, that is just amazing!!! You will be back there before you know it!!!
I haven't gained anything (yet) only lost. But i did have some to lose and with my terrible morning sickness im not surprised. But i have got my appetite back i havent been able to stop eating so im sure in a couple of months id have gained a heap!.
But don't worry too much, a friend of mine at this point had gained 20kgs she just ate and ate.
I have gained maybe 1/2kg, but I am only 11 weeks, but with DD I had already gained a couple of kg by this stage.
A friend would gain 25-30kg with each of her pregnancies and she was quite a thin figure (ex ballerina), and it would all come back off again, she found it difficult to deal with as it was the extreme of what she was used to.
Quite a lot of it will come off after delivery, and don't stress about the rest take your time, it will come and it took 9 months to put on so give yourself plenty of time for it to come off.
I had 4kg to lose to get back to my pre birth weight after DD (but it would have been a lot mroe if she went to term) but I put on 4 kg more and after 6 months I felt ready to lose it, I ended up losing more, so my starting weight this time was 4 kg less than I started with DD I am hoping to get really big and fat this time, showing I am growing a big fat healthy bubba
The avg wg gain in pregnancy is 12 - 15kg.
However some put on a lot more and some very little. Some carry lots of fluid some are so sick the loose massive amounts of weight.
Hi, I lost 6.6kg's before falling pregnant, I weighed myself a few days ago and I had put back on 6.4kg's and today I am 18 weeks. I feel very happy that I lost those 6.6kg's before falling pregnant becaues all I can think of is that I would be 6.6kg's heavier now if I hadn't!!! I also ate heaps during the 1st tri because it helped me not to feel sick and dry reach, I am hoping that the weight gain will slow down a bit now though because I'm not needing to eat as often and my meal sizes havent' actually gotten any bigger plus I hopeto start walking now I have some energy back.
I have lost 3kg since falling pregnant. I'm 22 weeks. However with both DS's i lost 10+kg all up and didn't gain anything.
I think it's different for everyone. I don't eat much when i'm pregnant because i lose all my appetite. Whereas some women have a huge appetite when they're pregnant.
None so far, but I stacked on 10kg before getting pregnant (to put me 20kg overweight), so my midwife advised me not to gain anything before 20wks. I'm finding it quite eay atm, as I can only eat small meals frequently, so assume bub is absorbing all the energy. My body measurements haven't changed. A better way to determine if the weight is going on growing bub or on growing you is to measure your thigh circumference. That will only increase if you're putting on fat. Otherwise, it's all going to bub.
I started out about 5kg heavier than I wanted to be thanks to Christmas and losses last year and had put on about 3kg by the time I was about 12 weeks (then had two weeks of bed rest and no exercise and felt FAT! I am now back to about 1.5kg from starting weight (at 15.5weeks) I keep reminding myself that I don't care as long as I get a healthy bub but it is still weird to not mind weight gain!
i put on over 20kgs with DD.. at the time i didnt think i looked that big (except for my belly) but i look at photos and i had 2 chins goin on and everything LOL
It comes off.. im still getting there but i will
