    Toddler unsettled overnight and Pregnancy....

DD has been very unsettled for the last week and a half, waking up all hours of the night wanting lots of cuddles, the last ocuple of nights we haven't been able to use a spare bed as we have had visitors, but we have been sleeping in the spare room together a lot so we would both get some sleep. And if she came in with DH and I she would hit him until he got out of the bed then promptly fall asleep

I am wondering it could be a few things... but these all started after the unsettled period was a few days in, but they might be adding to the length of it her Chronic Cough has returned but that had only been the last two days, she had a flu shot a week ago, so was a bit upset after than.

Is she perhaps sensing my pregnancy, we haven't told her about it as her vocabulary has gone through the roof and she would start telling people

I was wondering if it was a wonder week - do they even happen at this age (corrected she is a bit over 19 months, 21 actual)...

Or just one of those phases... I was wondering if we should look at converting her cot to the toddler bed and if it be best that we do it now rather than when I am further along, we won't be using the cot for bub at the start, but when bub does go to the cot she will go into a new room.

So many questions and just not sure what else it could be!

Emily was doing this when I was in my early pregnancy, she would have been 19 or 20 months. She was just soooooo clingy.
As for the cot, maybe wait until she's feeling 100% before moving her into a bed.

    Thanks girls

How long did Emily do it Jodi? Just wondering if I can get an idea how long this phase may last

Three wakeups last night after we went to bed, she is sleeping really solidly from 7:30/8pm- 11/12, but after that she is all over the place, by 5am I gave up and we went into the spare bedroom where she kicked an squirmed until she went back to sleep.

Hopefully she settles again soon, I keep asking her what is wrong, I just wish I could help her

She still has her days where she's super clingy. But the really bad part lasted about 2 months (maybe).

Hopefully she settles again soon, I keep asking her what is wrong, I just wish I could help her Today 08:35 AM

It's so hard at this age isn't it. They can't communicate well enough to tell us exactly what the problem is.
    Hang in there hun

I have no idea what it could be - mine weren't really doing that until I was showing heaps and they could see something was in there!
