Hi everyone, I'd like to start making my own cookies and slices etc but healthy ones... I've looked for a few recepies but the amount of sugar in them is crazy! Does anyone feel like sharing how they make their fav healthy treats without sugar? TIA
Eeks. We are sugar fiends here.... BUT - if I was curious about this, I'd be maybe googling recipes with sweet ingredients like dates, honey, sweet fruit...
Actually - how about something pastryish? Like, apple and date tarts or something? Or turnovers.
Adding mashed banana is a great source of sweetness, as well as adding honey as Nelle says. I know there is an oat & banana cookie that doesn't have sugar... I think it was posted here before.
