Can anyone recommend accommodation close to Sydney airport?

We're going to a wedding in Wollongong this weekend flying in and out of sydney and our return flight has been cancelled. This has resulted in an early flight on monday morning and we'd prefer to stay sunday night in sydney rather than drive from Wollongong on Monday morning. It's my parents, me, DD and my brother so ideally we'd like something 2 bedrooms with an extra futon, but open to other suggestions. Thanks

If you are willing to stay in the city - not too far from the airport - try Meriton Apartments - they have 3 apartment buildings in the city and are usually good value. Or go to wotif.com.au and do an advanced search for sydney and airport - you will get lots of options

I have always stayed at the Stamford whenever flying out of Sydney. THey also have a really nice seafood buffet
I have never had anything less than great acommodation there, we even stayed the night before we flew out for our honey. Highly recommend looking up their website or giving them a call. THey also have a shuttle to and from the airport and you can leave your car there for way less than they charge at the airport too

my suggestion would be the Addison on Anzac or Parade Lodge in kensington, not too expensive and not far from the airport (maybe 10-15 minutes depending on traffic). Also a lot of places to eat in the area that you can walk to.

Thanks for the suggestions girls. I'm trawling through the hotels on wotif and have a few options to present to mum and dad (because they'll be paying )
