So, I've been pretty lucky and I've travelled a lot... but I've never been to Greece and I've always wanted to go there!
If money was no object, if you didn't have to consider whether the destination was 'kid friendly', if you just had to say the word and your holiday was organised... where in the world would you go???
The only 'rule' is that you can't have been there before!!
oh bum, i was going to say new york.... but i've been there.... whenever i see it on tv i get all nostalgic and feel it calling me...
hmmmm been to heaps of countries, including greece... LOVED athens... and we went to one of the islands, forget which one... loved it all...
hmmmm let me think.... half the places i want to go to are places i've already been, and want to experience again... we are in the fortunate position to be able to go on some overseas trips once the kids are a little older..
OKAY I GOT IT!!!! i wanna go to DUBAI, like right now... one of my best girlfriends is living there at the moment and it sounds crazy and looks awesome.... so if i could go somewhere at the drop of a hat tomorrow, Dubai would be it, for shopping, seeing some crazy developments in the desert, and catching up with my friend over drinks (she has a drinking license, see i told you it was a crazy city!!)... indoor ski fields and out of this world water parks, hotels, 6 star stuff... pure indulgence arabian style.
i'd also like to see whats left of the Auschwitz camp at some stage, definitely not somewhere i'd take kids of any age to, maybe teenage years perhaps...
Oooooohhh Venice - Pixie I went there a couple of years ago and LOVED it. I'd say Atutaki in The Cook Islands - been to Raro and it is so romantic and perfect and they say Atutaki is better. But Emma1979 - I'll go to New York for you hehe.
Well, my answer was going to be nowhere, lol. I'd stay here, get a maid & send DH away!! But I'm already here...
So my answer is anywhere....coz I've been nowhere!
I would love to go to NZ one day.
