    WWYD?

About a month ago (just checked my eBay account and the item in question was purchased on the 22nd March) DH sent money to my account for a golf club (A big bertha) that I bought for $40 on eBay.
Anyways, on the description of the item, it said to wait for 11-14 working days for delivery. By the 30th of March I hadn't heard squat from them - which started ringing the alarm bells early.
This is what I'd sent (have not included usernames):

Hi, I was just wondering if you had sent the item yet? I'm not in any rush for it, I was just curious. Thanks in advance
I asked that because usually the seller has put that it's been sent and it had been a week and nothing had been highlighted saying it had been sent. And I'm also used to getting an email from the seller saying it has been sent.

    Their reply :

really sorry mate but only go the chance to send the item off on monday the 29th sorry for the delay.
    cheers.
Ok, no worries I say - Alarm bells die down a bit. I admit, I have done that too, but I've given the buyers warning that the items might be delayed a bit and the reasons why.
    I replied with :

Not a problem Was just wondering when it was sent
Really looking forward to getting it
Fast forward... waiting - waiting.. Until I got this on the 8th of April

hey *username* i have just recieved an email telling me that they cannot send my driver to you due to height restrictions. I am verry sorry about how long this process has taken and i will be giving you a full refund
    verry sorry, *username*
Initially I was disappointed, but then the alarm bells started ringing again - much louder this time. Told DH and he was so bummed about it. I said no worries, thanks anyways. It didn't occur to me until two days later that the person had not asked for bank details.
So, on the 10th of April, I sent them this message :

Did you want my bank details so you can send the refund?
It's now the 13th and I've heard nothing back from them. I've thought about leaving negative feedback - but was wondering what you ladies think I should do? Leave negative feedback and report him or just leave it? Right now, $40 will get us our much needed tank of petrol so it's not like $40 is nothing to us
    TIA

Thanks Ali - I've got a few things I need to put up on eBay myself, so after I've done it, I'll raise the issue with ebay

Didnt you pay him via paypal, if you did then check your paypal account to see if you have been issued a refund. It wont show up in your ebay
The money is probably sitting there for you to transfer to your bank account.....

Have they refunded through to your pay pay account?
I would raise the case with ebay before leaving any feed back,i agree whats happened is not great and i would be annoyed i mean things happen but its all about communication.

So raise a case with ebay and go from there

It really annoys me when ppl dont play by the rules on ebay

I use ebay to both buy and sell a lot and i always play by the rules and communication everything but no not everyone can do it back and it annoys me so much

we should not have to keep following up stuff after we have payed for it

I agree Shell - I admit, I didn't send an item to someone a while ago, but they got the full refund from me. It was about 2 weeks later, but they got it regardless.
I'm just going to sit and wait until tomorrow
