I can't wait for DD to only be in care for 1 or 2 days a week... im sure it will be the same again...
We are on the sickness merry go round already! She was sick right over easter with a cold that turned into an infection, now she sounds like a baby seal breathing and coughing. So again.. off to the dr again ( I live there and am going to claim a bed there as my own soon) for yet another certificate cause I'm off work and more steriods (if it is actually croup again).
I HATE giving them to here but it seems once it's at this stage I can't do anything else for her. Please let me know if anyone else has suggestions for this
I wouldn't send her to daycare cause thats not fair on her on her daycare mum and other kids but OMG i'm sick of this happening every second week
We've had a run of it too - first a cold that turned into tonsillitis, then a re-run of the cold after the tonsillitis had cleared up, and then two weeks later, croup. Which looked for a bit like it was going to go bacterial as well and end up with tonsillitis again. Until now, E has been the picture of health and had barely even had a cold.
It's no fun being on the sickness merry-go-round, is it? Hope she's better soon!
I don't know what it is with getting sick at the moment. We have been sick pretty much constantly since May last year. Before that we were hardly ever sick. There are weeks that I have really struggled to cope. Looking after sick kids is physically and emotionally draining!
I hope your DD is feeling better soon ... and stays better
