keep getting blocked duct in same place

Does anyone know why this might be occurring? Since just before Easter I've been getting a blocked duct, it's in the same place every time. Once I notice its getting blocked I massage it during feeding, it usually passes within 24hrs now. Has happened 4 times.

I did notice tonight that its in the spot where DD pushes when she's feeding, yes, she fully pushes me, and if I take her hand away she pulls her face away from my breast, stretching the nipple (ouch!)... so would that be why? Is she putting too much pressure on there? For some reason she's never really latched on perfectly to my right side, she appears as though she's trying to be as far away from the breast as possible while still getting milk lol. Should I just give up & change position? Use the "football hold" instead of the cradle?

lee, that sounds very frustrating. It well could be because of the feeding position. Trying a different hold on that side is a good idea. I hope it works for you.
