Last night from the early evening I was attached to the toilet.
DS came in (after getting himself out of the bath and drying himself cos I couldn't move and DH was feeding DD2) and said "is that vomit"... and I said "no.. I'm just dry retching".. and he said "are you vomiting?".. and I'm like.. "no... not yet".... DS said "why are you sick?" I said "I don't know, maybe something mummy ate".... He patted my head and put his arm around my neck - nawwwwwwwwww
Then I went out to the loungeroom and lay down on a blanket. DD1 came over to me and leant over and said "you day?" (meaning you ok?").... "you day mummy?" and put her hand on my shoulder - she looked so concerned it was soooo sweet!!!!!
Awwww that's absolutely what makes all the crappy moments pale into (relative) insignificance... I totally agree my love. You have gorgeous gorgeous babies!
Aww so cute! Aidens at the stage of comforting babies when they cry but not mummy yet. If he sees DP hug me he runs over to join in and kisses us both on the cheek
Its great when they get to the affectionate stage isnt it?
Definitely puts things in perspective - these little people are everything to me - and it seems I'm doing an ok job if they can be concerned about what someone else is going through
Now go and edit that post where you suggest you're only doing "an ok job" Of course you bloody are! You're a great mum. (that's me with my EC profssional hat on)
lol man your lucky! I had morning sickness the other day (after finding what I assume use to be potatoes) and i was puking in the toilet and she walks in and goes 'ewwwiiie mummy
