I had the exact same thing almost 10 years ago, while I was pregnant. It was awful. We also think it may have been related to DH having a cold sore. I have only ever had it that once, so still not sure exactly what it was.
I have thrush..again, I never used to get it until I was pregnant with JB, everytime I get it its worse I have blisters down there, last time i got it I was tested for STD's which of course were all negative coz i dont sleep around & neither does DH.
It burns to pee it burns to walk its so painful its not even funny apparently doc thinks they are coldsores which turn up when I get thrush he seems to think maybe DH went down on me when he had a coldsore and this is how it happened so i have to put coldsore cream down there.
my god its painful...anyone else had these before?

Oh, you poor thing
You won't believe this!!!! I woke up with a cold sore on my top lip this morning, I never get cold sores!!![]()
RaisingDancersouchy I am crossing my legs just reading your post...are you also treating for thrush? Get the 3-day canesten, it seems to work quicker, reduce the sugar/refined carbs in your diet (that will help starve the thrush off) and if it recurs get your blood sugar tested. Re the cold sores - you might get some temp relief from icing it...depending on how accessible it is. Also, there is a brand of cold sore cream called Virasolve, it is a thousand million times better than zovirax because it has a LOCAL ANAESTHETIC in it...which sounds like exactly what you need, poor thing

Ring around your local pharmacies until you find one that stocks the Virasolve. It's been around for yonks and is cheaper than Zovirax, but Zovirax tends to do more advertising so that's what people buy.
I only have 1 pharmacy to choose from lol.
Ill give them a call
If you get no joy from them, speak to them about what else you could use to numb the pain - maybe there is another cream or something like Emla that they have?
