Question Very possessive 15 month old!

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for "toning down" the possessiveness of my 15 month old DD? She is highly possessive of me ans has been for a few months now. Nobody is allowed to touch me, not even DH! She has become known as the cuddle police in our house because he just has to lay a hand on me while she is there and she has to come over and remove it, and if he continues to do it she gets quite upset! It's other people as well, you can hear when the doctor is examining me as she starts getting quite upset. It has got to the point where I have to schedule my appointments with DH's days off so she can stay with him. Usually I would think she would grow out of it and I wouldn't worry about it, but I am expecting a new bubba in a few months and I don't want her to be so possessive that I can't even hold the baby without her getting upset or to do something in a fit of jealousy. I am currently a stay at home mum and she doesn't go into daycare so I am all she knows so I can understand the reasoning behind why she is, but I just need it stop or not be as bad.

Sorry if this was a bit rambling but I could do with a few suggestions

I'm gonna say its a stage, and she'll grow out of it. DS was like that from about 14 months to 18 months, and DD1 was never really like it. She was a bit clingy but nothing like DS was.

Its hard.. especially when you are pregnant.

How is she with dh and other family and friends? Sounds like she is very dependent and attached to you. Can she spend more time with others with you not there so she learns to trust others

She is great with DH, cries when I go but settles quickly. Unfortunately I have just moved interstate and have no family or friends here. I hope she grows out of it.

My DS is similar, although not quite as full on as your DD sounds. But if DH and I hugging, he will come over and push us apart or have to be involved, and if I am holding DS and DH comes over and touches me, he will slap his hand off. He does a similar thing if DH is holding him and I come over.

I think its just a learning "mine" thing and will eventually pass. I hope it doesn't cause too many problems with your new bubs!!
