    dream interpretation

this is kind of a reacurring dream. not the EXACT scenario, people places, things that happen are different but i have had many many dreams of fish. more specifically, if there is an aquarium in my dream then there will be at least one fish (sometimes more) swimming outside of the tank, through the air. so just swimming about as per usual as if it were inside the tank but its not its up high in the air or just everywhere apart from in the water in the tank. LOL

does anyone know what that could mean?

seeing fish in our culture mean good fate and fortune coming your way. Being in the air, it may mean it is still coming to you and that is just a little out of reach atm.

The first thing that came to mind was the old saying 'like a fish out of water'.
Are you having anxieties about belonging or do you feel out of place?

Fish can also symbolize wealth and prosperity so the other idea I had was perhaps you feel prosperity is an impossible dream- like fish swimming in air.

I've been brewing on this dream since yesterday - fantastic when you have a recurring theme like that! First thing that comes to mind is the fish as a source of unexpected abundance or luck (like in the stories where the fisherman catches the fish and finds a gold ring) - but this is not necessarily financial, more about having plenty and auspicious circumstances, but I also think there is a lot more to this, because of the recurrence of the dream.

Water in dreams symbolises the subconscious or dreaming mind, and also the water element associated with the emotions, the subjective, the interior, the intuitive. So perhaps your subconscious mind is showing you to let your subjective, intuitive, emotive self "out of the box" more...the air element represents the mind and the intellect. So any intellectual mental activities you engage in will benefit from allowing your intuitive & emotional self into it...this will fuel a creative endeavour which may lead to abundance in a much bigger way than you can imagine at the present. I would particularly encourage you to work on developing your intuition, grab some books or a CD and do the exercises and see what happens. I suspect from your dream that you're actually a bit prone to over-analyzing (staying in that head space) so you may find that dropping into a sensate modality a bit challenging, but your dream is telling you that the rewards are worth pushing yourself through this.
