    Grobag - front zip?

Hi, I am looking at buying a grobag for my 6 month old. I have noticed that a lot of them come with a front zip. The one she is in at the moment has a side sip and top buttons. I am wondering if the front zip can become a pain and get caught or stuck like a jacket zip. what the adv disad are. which would you recommend. Would love to hear from peoples experiences. thanks for your help.

I have only used the one with the front zip so far and find it ok. I haven't found it getting caught. It is a travel one so I use it in the car seat and pram as he kicks blankets off.

    Hi
I have used both and haven't had any issues with either. Both as good as each other.
When they are little it may be slightly easier with a side zip due to not have to put their arms through the holes (ie. just lay them flat and use the press studs) but that really isn't much of a bother.

We used both. The side zips are easier when they are sleepy as you can just lay them on top and do them up, it's a bit harder to get their arms in with the front zips if you're trying not to wake them.

We never had an issue with the zips sticking (always used Grobags).

But when they're a bit older, if they want to get out of them, it doesn't matter which way the zip goes!!

No problems with the zip sticking, but the zips can dig in their neck or chin if they zip up the top and don't have a button protector
