What order do you do your housework in?

Ok, I want to know what is the most effective & efficient way to clean my house.

I tidy as I go during the week and then I do a 'big' clean once a week and what I want to know is how do you do it?

Do you clean each room thoroughly before starting on the the next or do you each job in each room? For example do you dust all of the house, sweep/vaccum all the floors, mop all of the floors etc... or break it down per room?

I tend to do one room completly before I allow myself to move onto another room.
Seems to help me finish one room before the next.

But I do leave the vacuuming till last when everything is off the floor.

i tnd to work high to low.....

so wipe everything down, pick up all the stuff, clean off all the benches ansd cabents...

then i do kitchen then lounge/dining then bathroom then laundry then bedrooms then vacum.....

hmmm now i look at it i prob do things the long way!!!
