It might just be taking her a bit to adjust to the different seasons, I'm sure my kids went through similar stages. Hopefully it will pass fairly soon! Will she play quietly in bed?

I'd be glad to hear any suggestions too. My DS1- who'll be 2 years old in 5weeks- wakes anywhere from 5am to 6am (and there has been a couple of 4am's - though i blame DH for that cause he leaves for work about then). Even my newborn is sleeping til 6.30- 7am.

A few of my friends are going through or have gone through the same thing- they all say its a phase, but i'm wondering when the phase will end cause he's been doing it for about 4months now please be soon its getting cool . But at least with our house we can block off the hall to lounge and close all the doors except for ours and his- so he can play in his room til we're ready to get out of our nice cosy bed

Dd has been all over the place and I was the same as you alst week, but she has settled into a longer later sleep in now, 6:30-7am, for us she was out of wack for 3-4 weeks! DD is 22 months old or 20 corrected

    Morning
when my little one wakes up and is awake i get him up in highchair and place in front of Tv with a dvd on for and hour .... it works . Its enough distraction that i can either go back to sleep for an hour or have a cuppa and wake up ... i give his a banana to eat and he is on the tiles near my room so i can see him .... worth a try ! My DS isa 22 mths

No suggestions here either - DD is doing the same - only trouble is, she's in a bed so gets herself out, walks down to us, throws about 3 of her teddies in our bed and then climbs in. Would be fine if she went back to sleep, but she's such a wriggler and then when DS starts waking up, she's up and thats it for the day! Makes for such a long day!
