Will my kitty be different after he's desexed?

My baby is off being desexed this morning & I just had the sudden thought, is he going to come home different? Will he still be the crazy nutcase kitten I had to chase around the house to catch this morning?

Please please tell me he's going to be the same.

WOOPS! I read this without looking at which category it was under and thought...what a way to speak about your child being cir'ed! Then I relaised you were speaking of your puddy cat.

I can only speak for my dog......not sure about Cats.

My cats came back the same? Maybe the girl one didn't attack us as often though...

I had a male desexed and he was still the same crazy, demanding kitty afterwards.

My male cat was a little older when I had him desexed and yes he did change, he preferred to come in at night rather than me chasing him to get him inside because he wanted to fight the other toms the were out after dark.

He was still a nutter of a cat, and he had great personality even after being desexed, just a lot more intent on sitting on your lap for a pay though... *sigh* I miss him
