    Lowering DS's cot

DH & I cannot for the life of us remember when you're supposed to lower the cot matress down and I can't find the instruction manua. DS is nearly 10 months, standing while holding onto things & is a climber.
So when is suggested to lower it?
    TIA,
    Dan.

we lowered DD's as soon as she could stand herself up - i didn't want to risk her tipping herself over the rail...

As soon as he starts to pull up on things to stand by himself. Sam had been doing that for about three days before DH had time to lower the cot. The very next day we found him standing up in the cot for the first time!

I did mine as soon as DD could sit herself up because she's tall with long arms and liked grabbing stuff up high. We didn't want to run in to a surprise clunk if she pulled herself up and fell out

Thanks ladies. I'll be lowering his cot this weekend. I was thinking I should because you go in there to get him and he is standing up, bouncing and because he's tall he is easily clearing the top of the cot. My little man is growing up

DH is lowering DD's cot as I type this. She has only been pulling herself up on things for a few days but already she has managed to stand up in the cot. Don't want any bumps in the night!
