Burst Vein in Eye?

Ok so i have broken my own FB and BB ban during the day to ask about a popped vein in my eye.

well that is what i think it is, it's off to the left hand side of my left eye and i have a big red patch, it doesn't hurt and i only noticed it cos i was cleaning the bathroom ( me) and saw it in the mirror.

Should it be cause to worry about anything? I have had a couple of headaches lately but thats nothing unusual for me.

I had that once but it was because I had a really bad cough and burst a vessel it looked gross but didnt hurt
do you have a cough?

No cough, mum thought maybe i have rubbed it or something but i haven't touched my eye, she said watch it and if it begins to hurt or gets bigger get it checked.... hmmmm stupid eyes.

if it's not irritated on the outside from rubbing, i would say you need to get it checked out. Like PO5 i have had one from a lot of coughing when i was sick - was pretty awesome actually once we realised what it was (the whole white of my eye went red - looked awesome! lol)! but, with nothing like that going on, it may be that you've had a period of high BP that is causing micro-vessels to burst - best to get on top of it and at least get it checked just in case there is something more going on kwim?
