Sugar Flowers where to buy online ??

Can you please tell me who you recommend to buy from online for sugar flowers (and also sugar cake decorations of other shapes) ??

As i need them for my DD's birthday cake i'm doing late next week !!

There's a shop in Ballarat called Inhabit which stocks Wilton products... I'd phone them & check because they sell the candied flowers etc...

... yeh i checked in there but was hoping to find somewhere that had more of an assortment
i last purchased from the Sweet Art cakes shop in Ballarat but the new owner now has them bagged up with assorted colours (and range is not great like before) so therefore can't pick what you want individually.

Hi! Try sugarcraft by rosie - I think she has/had an ebay store also.
Wests cake decorations are great too (I have only been to their store tho) try cakedecoration.

Oh i'm so glad you mentioned this site Kristy as when i googled this one looked the most appealing site but you know when you feel more secure about buying with someone's recommendation ... She has some beautiful sugar items not just flowers but other goodies, like cute lady beetles & butterflies, etc ...

If you had the time you can get tutorials on the internet on how to make your own, they store for ages too.

... i will most likely put a photo of the cake on my FB after DD's party so you know what the sugar flowers, etc that i buy look like ... i'm thinking i might get the sugar butterflies, lady beetles as well as the flowers

oh darn i went to order online (and this goes for all the online shops that i could see) ... an order can take up to 72hrs to be dispatched then another up to 5days for postal delivery so therefore i would receive way far too late for DD's party

.. express post is offered by very few online shops but i would imagine it's costly (no price quoted on the site) as regular post is costly as it is

So looks like i'm gonna have to check out Sparty's at Spotlight, etc ... in town !!

............................... Hopefully my above info might help any future readers of this thread to plan much further ahead when ordering like maybe give yourself at least *** 8-9days Working Days*** when wanting to put in an online order to receive in time to decorate your cake or cupcakes

i had my suagrcraft by rosie stuff in under five days last time...i think her time estimates are to cover herself but she is usually very prompt with delivery.....love love love her stuff!!
