    Minerals / Powder Foundation

I'm wondering what brand of minerals / powder foundation you use?

I've been using a Revlon liquid foundation for years and have noticed that the bottle I'm using at the moment seems to be wearing off my face by mid morning. I have to wear it everyday for work, and I normally end up wearing it on weekends as well, because my skin is prone to pimples and gets quite red around the cheeks, which I hate.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated!!

    TIA

At the moment Clinique super balanced make up. I really like it as it's light to wear. I went to the Clinique counter and got color matched.
In the past I have used the Body Shop moisture face ones...really like those too.
I have a Mac Tinted Moistouriser I use on days I don't want to wear foundation..it actually looks like really good, even if I do say so myself

I currently use Issada Mineral Liquid foundation, it is the best I've ever used after searching for a very long time. I do not have the greatest skin & have been trying to find something for years that works well, I hate the foundations that make your face look oily, or come off onto you sunnies etc....that's yuck. This is a liquid foundation, that drys like a powder when you apply it....I got it at my hairdresser & I love it. I've also had many people ask me what make up I use as it does do a good job.

    Thanks girls...

How much is the Clinique Super Balanced?

Do to the fact that I wear it almost everyday, I don't want to spend an absolute fortune on it...

I'm using Nude By Nature right now and love it so much. The only disadvantage to it is it only comes in 3 shades - light, medium & dark. I was just lucky that the light is perfect for my skin tone.

I use the Avon Mineral powder makeup range which includes the foundation, blush and eyeshadow. I think the foundation costs about $20 and you usually get a free kabuki brush with it. I used to use Clinique Super Balance too, not sure whether that is mineral or not though?? I was skeptical of mineral powder at first, but I havent used liquid for ages!

It was $49. You don't have to use much so it goes a long way.

About $50 from memory. It does lasts a long time. Another good one is Mary Kay, I've used that in the past.

It is currently $29 AUD on Strawberrynet. This is with free postage. Best to get colour matched at the counter of your dept store/pharmacy and then log in and buy! I have ordered many times from them and always been pleased.

Due to the strong AUD at the moment, there are some good bargains to be had. Some of the Clinique mascaras are only $17 so same price you pay for Maybelline etc

    Hope this helps

the one I mentioned is about $70, but I've just had to buy a new one this week. It lasted me 6months or more & that's wearing it everyday. I live where it's very hot & humid all of the time & it never runs as it goes like a powder & means you don't need a powder also saving you $$$$ also.

Thanks for giving me your recommendations girls! Very much appreciated.

Taurean78, I just might have to check that website out!! Very interesting.

Otherwise I might go Avon, I didn't think of them. I've never bought from Avon before, can I just buy it off their website??
