We have the biggest struggle every morning getting DS14 out of bed, that's totally another story. At High School if they are late they will have to do an after school detention. From the start of the year I have received so many e-mails from his Home Group teacher regarding him being late and having to give him detention which up until yesterday has never happened. I receive a phone call from the Principal yesterday telling me how much of a problem they have with DS arriving late. The tone of voice she was using with me made me feel like she was telling me off. She told me that she is giving him an after school detention for an hour today, I asked her why he hasn't received a detention until now, he knows now that there are no consequences for him arriving late. She replies "we wanted to give him a chance". Anyway I am just hoping that he hates detention today, he loves hanging with his mates after school, hopefully he'll start getting to school on time.
