    for those with long hair

how do you wear it usually? I've had hair down to my tailbone for about 3 years now and mostly just have it in a ponytail or plait or loose when I have time to straighten it. I'm getting bored but am too attached to cut it all off! I need to a new look!

I've only just managed to grow mine to the point where I could call it long..ish. LOL.

I like to wear mine in a side pony (yanno, so it sits just behind one ear?) and am also growing my fringe out so just pin it or put in a side comb (which works waaaay better on my hair) with a bit of a 'bump' at the front iykwim?

I also love two ponies or braids that looks cute and you're definitely young enough to get away with it I'm kinda border line at my age

What about cutting a fringe in? That totally changes your look without having to cut your hair shorter. I had one for about 3 years before deciding to grow it out cause I needed a change but I loooooved it. Was so quick and easy to just pull the back up and it always looks 'done' iykwim? If you don't like it you can always pin it back or sweep it to the side while it grows out.

yep, the fringe option is good for a change and if you dont already then you could get layer cut in to you length. Or if you have layers already, ask your stylist to cut them in differently than usual - let them know your after a change but want to keep the length.
BTW -I have very long hair too and when I go to the hair dressers (i dont have a regular one) they always want to cut it short or imply its too long ...do you get that too? Its fustrating, but I figure its cause they love cutting hair - thats their job I just wish some of them had more creative ideas for styling long hair than many of them seem to.
Any hair stylist reading this tell me why!?

Oh I forgot to add I already have a fringe
Salsa yes! They always look so disappointed when I say 'oh just a couple of cms just to neaten it up'

Thanks for the ideas...braids or new layers sound ace!

My hair is down to probably an inch or so below my bra strap could be longer, its always longer than I think coz when I got to the hairdresser they all ooo and arrrhh about how long it is lol.
salsa I agree they always want to cut it lol.
I go to the same hairdresser and she knows i love my hair long and she has strict instructions to never let me cut it in a pregnant hormonal state or after I have any of my babies lol its quite funny.
I too get bored with just tying it up into a pony tail but I am not creative enough to do anything else and I just think it will come out stupid.
I dont have a fringe just a few shorter layers around the front so that there is a bit left out when its up in a pony tail. I wish I could do something different with my hair too so I have no ideas for you sorry

I usually wear it in a bun ... I also pull it up in a half-pony or plait that ... braid is good ... twist it around and pin it in place ...

My hair is down to the middle of my back. It's layered around my face and I have a blunt fridge at front. Depending on my mood, I'll wear it either out (curled or straightened), in a ponytail or plaited.
Would you cut it just a little bit shorter, so say mid way down your back and layer it?
