    Baby Colds

Call me silly but how do you tell your little one has a cold...

And does anyone have any ideas that helped their little one through their colds????

    She is 3mths.

Think its the same as an adult cold - runny nose, cough, wheezing breathing. Unfortunately there is nothing you can give them as all cold medicines are only for kids 2 years and older. Fever can be managed with panadol. Basically its just something you need to wait out. Of course if she gets really bad or the fever gets high go to the Dr.

    HTH.

If she gets really stuffed up & it's affecting her feeding, you can get a spray & a sucker to clear her nose. We used the Little Fess one, you can get it from the chemist.
Also try elevating her bed, if she's in a cot - we used a pillow under the mattress - and a vapouriser can help if she's wheezy.
Oh and you can get baby vicks too, although TBH I don't know if that does much

    Re: Baby Colds

My little man had one. I found putting him in the bathroom while I had a shower helped. I didn't turn the fan on and the steam helped unclog his nose.
