sick of my hair, it needs a bit of jazzin' up. What colours are "in" ? Usually if I'm in corporate mode I go for rich reds / browns but I feel like returning to my roots (so to speak) and going black with a few purple / red extensions woven in.
Thoughts?
BTW, my hair is quite long Just past my bra strap.
Sounds good Kaz. Have you had that sort of colouring before? I'm thinking of getting mine done too sometime soon....not sure what tho! I don't think I could carry off black hair, being pale white skinned with a tendancy to red flushing. I can't go too dark or I look sick!
reds browns coppers are all in for winter black and red look good together
I have found at work atm that everyone is going red!! Which is a great change from just blonde or brown or their natural colour ... Being a hairdresser its nice doing something other than brown all over or blonde foils LOL
Lil - yeah, I've had that colour heaps ... my old boss was known to comment that she'd never known anyone who looked "natural" with black, red & purple hair before
Guess I'm really wondering about what's "in" cause I do have to interact with various business units in my work, and don't want to look too weird for them ...
No idea what's in but I went red a couple of weeks ago. I told my hairdresser I'm thinking red so she got out the colour chart and explained which ones would suit me best and I chose one from there.
Like I said before the official 2010 winter trend is red copper or brown blondes are slowly going out... The trends follow Ashlee Simpson Nicole Richie and a few other famous celebs u will find what these girls do generally everyone follows kinda the new Victoria beckham it's going more boho with sophistication
I'm getting mine coloured next week and I'm not sure what I'm doing either. I'm thinking either a dark chocolate brown or a red of some description. I never dye my hair, only ever get rinses/semis (can't stand regrowth!) which is frustrating cause I never quite get the red I want. One day I will bite the bullet and just dye it but am waiting till I start getting greys!
Kaz - Going on your av alone...I'd go black with red. Looks like that's more 'you'. I saw a girl in myer today who had black hair with red foils peeking out. It looked awesome.
What did you decide? I'm getting mine done tomorrow and have no idea what to do. Feeling like something a bit different. I'm so sick of being boring and having the same old blonde and caramel foils. Going to have to put some thought into it.
I was hoping someone else would go to the hairdresser and I'd feel inspired to move my butt too! Sick of feeling so drab! I like the idea of the black with purply foils, it'd be something I go for!
Hehe seems I'm going for what's on the way out because that's not the norm for me! The past couple of years I've been a really dark brown and dark reds, but next week I'm going to have my longish layered hair all cut off (in the style like Joanne from Masterchef) and with blonde and caramel foils in front. If I'm brave enough to cut it off, that is!!
Go for it with the black red and purple Kazbah. Sounds great!
