Surrogacy

Hi all,

I'm a newbie, 30 years of age, just come out of a 2 year battle with Breast cancer. My partner and I completed IVF before I started chemo and successfully froze 2 embryo's. I am on a drug that I cannot be on to have children, but risk my life going off the drug - which brings me to the surrogacy saga. I am in NSW so I am able to proceed with our embryo's/surrogacgy, just wondering if there is anyone out there who can shed any light on the process?

I am posting to wish you the very best, we were starting to look at surrogacy and two friends had offered, then after our next cycle we were lucky.

There is a very good support group with lots of advise and info in yahoo they have a forum too.

I hope you get a few more replies here too, we also looked at going OS for treatment

Hi Kizzy,

I am in similar shoes to you. I am 34 and recently had to have a hysterectomy due to cancer.

I am also looking into surrogacy. Maybe we can keep in touch> :-)
