A little advice would be SO appreciated....PLEASE?

    Hello,

    Thank you for reading this.
I am not really complaining. My DS2 is happy and healthy. So one small problem is nothing really. BUT its interferring with my relationship with DH!! So eager to change it.

    Here goes...

DS2 is a great lil man. Sleeps well at night.. eats well... settles himself during the day quite good. BUT he only wants boobie in bed lying down before going to sleep at night.
( He has feed usually only minutes before we head up to bed, so it can't be hunger) Generally I didn't have a problem with this.. afterall my darling boy is at least going to sleep then and therefor so do I. BUT this means no "special" cuddles with my DH. Cause by the time DS2 is sleeping and I can transfer him to his bassinet.. DH is asleep TOO!!

DS1 was, if memory serves me right, self setteling due to his dummy at this stage. But DS2 is not interested AT ALL in the plastic. LOVES the boobie too much. LOL

    So what do I do...??
Do I persist with letting him cry a little at night and wean him off me at night. Maybe try and get him used to the dummy??
    OR
Do I let it be for now.. as he is only little I guess. BUT don't want him to get used to bad habits.. cause this is not a permanent arrangement!!

    Once again.. thanks!

I dont think you can create bad habits hon with a nearly 3 month old...he's programmed to suck your boob...so he's doing what he is supposed to.
At 3 months, i would be expecting to still be feeding overnight...
Time with DH mmmmm.....can you have time with DH earlier in the night ??? when the two babies are in bed ?? I would be kicking my DH to wake up if i wanted more 'us' time...least he can do.
For what its worth...all my children have loved booby, my DS (11months) still does. And they are all great sleepers now.
I know it seems like you wont get 'us' time...but with my #4 nearly 12 months old....i never thought i would get 'us' time again....but you do.....

Thanks Mbear.. I love breastfeeding my lil man. After reading your post, I thought to maybe go and do the last feed before DS2 goes to sleep for the night earlier.. get him dreaming away then we have a few hours to ourselfs.

I just wanted to say the same as mbear.

And also I too thought I'd be feeding to sleep forever. That's how our Moosh used to go to sleep, laying down feeding. Now she doesn't feed to sleep at all. Bit sad really. Relieving of course, knowing she'll FINALLY go to sleep without me, but still... sad... enjoy it darl, 'babyhood' only happens once
