    Fetish!

I've always picked on my mum for having a MAJOR shoe fetish. She has over 100 pairs and still finds gaps that she needs to fill. I've never got the obsession, and my brother inherited the shoe thing, not me.

But lately, I've realised that I can be as obsessed about PJ's as mum is for shoes!!!! I rarely buy them, being somewhat broke, but when I get a voucher or anything, it's always pj's that I buy! I find myself wandering through Kmart or Target and always end up walking past that section. Hehe.

So what's your fetish and do you feed it?

I'm definitely a shoe girl, I've had to start storing them in the spare room because my wardrobe is full and they're not even fitting under my bed any more!

They're quite exxy though as I usually buy from overseas (shoe stores here either don't have what I like, or they're FAR too expensive for the quality, I buy cheap ones from the US but the shipping's a killer so I usually wait till I can afford to buy three or four pairs at once and get combined shipping discounts), so in the meantime I treat myself to...
STOCKINGS! I hate footless tights (although I did just buy a pair in leopard-print that I could not pass up), but I don't mind whether it's brief or needs a garter belt, I'm game. I have so many different kinds I don't even know where to start - from basic opaque (in several different colours) to patterned tights in all manner of beautiful, fancy patterns, to about six different kinds of fishnets (and my recommendation to everyone is the Target-brand ones, they're the best I've ever had and I keep going back to them!), to sheer, backseamed/Cuban heel, vertical striped (think Moulin Rouge/burlesque)... *sigh* they're all so pretty, and so cheap! I can't resist buying a pair if I see some unusual ones.

    fun thread

I love nail polish but don't buy that much, I always have nail polish on my toe nails though and rarely am seen without it on my finger nails but I tend to buy one or 2 colours at a time and wear them until the nail polish gets thick and yucky or runs out then get a new shade. I also love lip sticks, I'd have a 100 different shades if I let myself go but hows this for self control... I only have about 4 different ones! hardly sounds like a fetish does it!

I could buy shoes every day! I used to buy 2 or 3 pairs a month when I was young and single, but DH has this funny idea about getting a decent amount of wear out of my shoes?! I dunno, men!

So, I'm still a shoe fetishist, but I no longer buy shoes just coz they're pretty, I hafta make sure they're going to be (fairly) comfortable, or I'll never hear the end of it from DH...

Have to admit to shoes here as well. I've even noticed that my DD shoe collection is crazily large as well. We went camping a few weeks ago and I laughed to my husband that even though we were only away for a week I'd packed 6 pairs of shoes for our lil Princess.....

    LOL Emma09

Thanks for all the comments. This is fun! Wonder what our kids will grow up to be obsessed about - and I'm not talking about computer games either! Although, DH does love his old Nintendos.....

too funny as i have a mention of my BOOT fetish in my BB profile

    - costume jewellery, especially cuffs or wide tight bangles type (i'm sooo addicted to wearing them, as in my avi pic, LOL)
    - comfy dressing gowns (i own 5 on the back of my bedroom door and DP just bought me another recently for Mother's Day)
    - lipgloss (nude, nude & more nude shades please ... harr)
    - my latest fetish is Mac eyeshadows, the collection is growing (when i can afford them, PMSL)
    - Mugs with " Mummy " on it, can't own enough of 'em ... when i open the cupboard makes me feel like i have lots & lots of children, i LOVE that feeling
    - i have loved and owned heaps of Micronet tights for years, have to have heaps in case any get a snag in them.
    - might be more of an addiction as i love, love, love OP shopping ... i seriously get withdrawals if i don't go into at least one per week, it's like finding Treasure or the feeling as a kid when your folks bought you a ' lucky dip ', ah remember those !!!!!

I think my user name gives mine away

Use to be really big on earrings to but I'm more into ****tail rings atm.

Bows are another weakness, love anything with a pretty bow. Have a beautiful Alannah hill bag that started it all from YEARS ago when she was still very unique, dusty pale green suede with clear and smoke coloured swarovski crystals in the shape of a bow on both sides.

    Mac pigments...way way too many
Nail polish, mostly revlon and opi
    Mimco necklaces
Belts, this one is my worst because I never wear them
Cakes stands, serving wear, pretty platters
    Clutches/small handbags
    Dresses

    ekk...more than I realised

Oh and I totally thought this was going to be about something very very different hahaha
