How much notice do you like to recieve

HI all,

I am preparing for Lachlan's 2nd Birthday.
I have made the invites and am going to get them printed out.

My question is how long before a party do you like to receive an invite.
I always thought it was 8 weeks, but I'm not sure if that's for a wedding..
I don't want to send them out to early but don't want to be to late either..

8 weeks for a wedding/21st

Id rather have 2-3 weeks notice for most things, otherwise I tend to forget.

I did 2-3 weeks for DD.

I did 4 weeks for DD's 1st bday. For people you know need to book it in in advance, You could send out a save the date email or text msg.
