    Will there be a light

at the end of the tunnel????

DD was such a good eater, actually ate almost everything and huuuugeeee quantities for her age.

NOW, at 2 yrs just about nothing, she is so fussy and it has been going on for months.

We have no junk food in the house, never have and she aint really a fan of it anyways. I literally only buy fresh produce and staple ingredients and I make everything. So its not like she has taken to unhealthy alternatives.

She basically will only eat Cheerios (cereal), apples, yoghurt, cheese, sultanas, penut butter sandwiches, red meat, fish, and chicken, rice. Nothing else will pass her lips.

She is happy, healthy, growing, she doesnt complains she is hungry, just has her few mouthfuls and is done.

I know its a phase that alot of toddlers go through, and to keep offering her all foods but I really need some confirmation that things will go back to normal and she will find food exciting and explore it cause I am stilllll waitingggggg.

    Absolutely it will get better.
DD had now gone through a number of these stages, at one stage all she would eat was weetbix and cheese!
So now, when she goes through these stages, I just deal with it, she eventually gets bored of it. A lot of the time I will start eating something and she will want some, and she ends up finishing it for me its my sneaky trick into getting her to eat stuff when it becomes a bit of a battle.

Forgot to include that I do sneaky hide foods to but she is adapt at finding them , I used purees and put them in stuff to, we do a 'boost' juice smoothy of milk/yoghurt where I can hide banana in and she will drink it fine but put anything else in it and she wont drink it. I have also started getting her to help me prepare meals, the most success out of that we got so far was she licked a tomato and declared it yuuukkkk. .

hmm it sounds like she has a normal toddler diet.

I just went thru this with my ds, but his case was a little different where as he refused to eat ANYTHING. He would not let any food pass his lips. It turned out he had a virus and is now back to normal eating again.

There is light at the end of the tunnel though, and thats always good to know. Your dd eats fruit, meat, fish etc so thats great news and as you said she is happy and healthy, i wouldn't worry
