2yo wont feed herself

My 2yo DD will not spoon feed herself, she will feed herself finger foods though.
I'm not sure if this is something worthy of worrying about?
I mean, I KNOW she can feed herself with a spoon/fork, she just doesn't have any interest in doing so and much prefers for DP or myself to feed her.

OMG I could wrute same post about 22 month old!

He will eat finger foods, but otherwise wants to be spoon fed by us.

DS1 sees the spoon as a toy and all to hard so he hits food with it or makes a mess with it and reverts to eating with hands or just not eating unless we feed him.

Everyone else around me there kids feed themselves with a spoon!!

Some little ones are just more than happy to have someone do all the hard work for them LOL! My eldest was the same, more than happy to let me feed him for ages. She is completely normal, like you said she knows how to do it, she just doesn't want to do it

my son is 2yr old and 1 month and he wont feed himself either, he'll take couple mouthfuls and then wants me to finish feeding him... As someone else mentioned he is perfectly normal just lazy ive put it down too lol

its not lazy, some children enjoy the interaction with their parents is all
