What is the best insect spray with regard to fumes/smell?

DD's room has only a small window and doesn't air well so I'm looking for the least obnoxious insect spray. Natural/homemade is ok too, so long as it can be sprayed and works on ants like a surface spray would. (ie. not only kills them, but deters them for a while too) as well as spiders etc.

Which do you like best?

I use the low allergenic odourless PeaBeu (sp?) one. It has a bit of a smell but nothing like the other ones. I'm not sure if it works as a surface spray. The bugs don't seem to return to the places I spray but I'm not sure whether that's because of the spray or because we get pest control religiously. But I've found that this one works really well and doesn't have a horrible strong odour. HTH!
