What steam iron to buy ?? .. Recommendations please : )

Hi all,

I can't believe it that exactly 2years ago this month i had the same thread on stating that my iron's days had ended and that i need recommendations for a new iron ... well, this morning after 2years of owning my new iron it packed in ... and before anyone mentions warranty the iron has not worked well since i ' dropped ' it about a year ago, since then it has leaked water, the water spray has barely worked and then recently it began to smell smokey and then this morning it had water leaking everywhere (yes very dangerous for an electrical appliance) and then the inevitable happened it just didn't work went absolutely cold i even tried another plug thinking that it might have been that but no i could not revive an iron that clearly was putting itself out of it's own misery, lol

Now this iron originally cost $120 which i got on special for $90 ... i was happy with all it's feature except one thing which caused the iron to fall from the ironing board ... where the cord ends at the iron when you sat it down it would dangeously sometimes tilt and almost fall over or off the ironing board which it did that once crashing to the floor and hence was never the same

The sad part of the iron story is i went to pain staking measures on deciding on this iron which turned out to have one poorly designed feature which cause it to fall to the ground and to which i now have no iron. So disappointing

So i can't afford to put a lot of money into another iron and wanted to ask you all that have an iron say under approx $80 (if that's possible) ... What do you have or recommend ??

I'm looking at the Sunbeam Enduro model SR 4600 that's on special at Target this Thurs for $50 (originally $99) ... Does anyone have this iron ??

Sorry no idea we have a crappy iron that annoys me as also nearly falls over, and we barely use it I rekon at most gets used 6 - 8 times a year!!!!!! Yes bad me I know!!!
