Not sure whats happening but need some help

    Hi All,

Iv never had any probs with milk or breast feeding i have been very lucky in that respect .
but the last few weeks maybe i notice that bubs fusses a lot on my right breast but is fine on the left, so i spose i have been doing the wrong thing and when she fusses i put her on the left coz i kow she will drink and be calm there.
I still always put her on both boobs and swap etc and she will drink and be ok on the right most times just not all the time.
The last week iv noticed that i dont seem to be filling up in the right boob like i do in the left, my left feels full of milk but the right always feel like a normal boob and sometimes i can feel it has milk in it but never as much as the left.

I am worried something is wrong with my milk or something? any advise or help pls?

I'd make sure to start each feeding session from the right breast to stimulate your milk supply. Also, could she be uncomfortable lying on that side? Maybe try the football hold and see if things improve. Good luck.

It's quite common to have a lower supply/ slower flow on one side and that might be it. Maybe try a football hold or lying down. Also, if you think it's a slower flow (if it seems to take a bit longer to get letdown on that side) you could try triggering letdown before you put her on.
There's nothing wrong with your milk - you'll little one is just expressing a preference

At this stage you should start to feel "floppier", as your supply and bubs demand should come in to synch a bit more. She demands more from one side, so it has learnt to make more!
Keep an eye on her weight gains and wet nappies, but all should be well.
