    Question Do any of you

    Do any of you have a roster made up for your home? Im meaning for the jobs you wish to get done. Im thinking of making one up,nothing to hard to stick to just a few things to get done each day.So that its not a whole day thing.

    If you do would you like to share them as i have no idea where to start haha

    I've tried but I get disappointed when I can't get it all done. So now I make a list of things to do and then cut it into thirds.

    ok here we go:

    as soon as i get up i put a load of washing on and a loaf of bread aswell as get meat out of the freezer
    then feed the gremlins do the school thing

    from 9 til 10 bellah watches a dvd whilst i work

    11.30 i start mking lunch whilst i am cooking lunch i wipe down all benches and give anything else in the kitchen a once over if i have the time put things in there proper place (DH is forever just leaving the coffee and sugar tins on the bench right in the middle infront of the kettle)
    then its nap time ill sit down and have a cuppa to start with then do all the floors sweep, vac and mop whilst there are no tiny feet running around

    once DD2 is down for the night ill fold the washing from the morning and put it away, do the dishes wipe table highchair and benches then work for the rest of the night

    anything else fitted in is a bonus but with illness lately i havent even been managing this and my house looks horrible!

    I was actually thinking of writing up my own and posting it on the fridge.

    I have been so slack with my housework, i find that i do it all in one day when if i rostered what days i do the mopping and what days i vacuum i wouldn't have so much to do and would have a nice tidy house.

    I'll be stalking this thread and getting ideas of what i should do and how i can maintain it.

    I follow a book called 'speed cleaning' religiously. At the back of the book it has a daily cleaning planner which I follow.
    I use my time very wisely. In the morning, the first thing to get done is making the beds, then breakfast. While the girls are eating breakfast I put a load of washing on. Once the girls finish breakfast I wash up the brekkie dishes. When I'm playing with the girls in a specific room, I clean it while we're playing. I encourage the girls to help me along the way as well. At 4pm each day, I do a quick sweep of the whole house before I start preparing dinner.
    That's just a quick guide to my typical day HTH

    Yep I do...

    Every morning, in this order as soon as I get up;
    make my bed
    tidy my room
    get dressed
    wipe over ensuite sink/mirror/ tidy in there

    then after brekkie;
    unstack dishwasher and put brekkie things in
    wipe over kitchen
    put on a load of washing (obviously deal with that during the day)
    do a quick sweep of whole house and put away miscellaneous objects that are AWOL

    at lunch time when DS is asleep I tidy the living areas

    while the kids are in the bath I wipe over their sink/bath surrounds/mirror if it needs it/shower glass
    While dinner is cooking I get their beds ready and do a quick tidy of their rooms - 5 mins max putting stuff out from the day.
    after dinner I do the dishes/stack dishwasher and put it on.
    Then do a quick sweep of the living areas again and dust one room a night - only takes 5minutes for the lot.

    On Mondays;
    change bed linen/towels
    vaccuum
    mop

    Thanks everyone. Thanks MrsS thats good. Im not sure how much to do on each day either. I dont want to start with to much or il prob not get it done or il give up lol

    So apart from the everyday things as i do the dinner dishes ect as im cooking so its easier.
    My plan for the other things are maybe a few a day. Like the bathrooms i could do them on the Monday along with bed linen. Then tues do the lounge and vacc and mop ect ect and each day do a load of washing to. That way it wont be to much and i wont get to tired or to lazy il see how i go.

    But wow we have some organized ladies here I have seen the speed cleaning book i may suck it up and go buy it hehe

    whoa Kim, you cleaning demon!

    I get DS dressed for the day, get him brekky and put ABC2 on and go back to bed for an hour or so.
    Then I do dishes, have my brekky, have shower, tidy lounge room that has been trashed while DS has been left to his own devices.
    Have lunch, tidy lounge again.
    Cook dinner, get washing in and wash and hang out a few more loads on the line.

    Every few days vaccuum and sweep.
    I never make my own bed, but usually make DS bed and make his room presentable.

    I rarely mop or scrub bathroom.

    Clean toilet once or twice a week. Wipe down basin and mirror a few times a week.

    Never dust.
