    How common??

Ok so my period was 6 days late and only lasted a couple of days, I had gone off the pill the previous month because I wanted to see how my cycles would be if i let them happen naturally rather than "manufacture" them, I am just wondering do you think it is normal for your cycle to be thrown out after just going off the pill or is it possible that I may be preggers, or do I just read too much into things LOL
    TIA

Hi! It iS very possible that your late period is a result of going off the pill, I had been on the pill for a very long time before going off it to ttc and my system was pretty messed up for a few cycles with spotting and all over the shop cycle start dates, but also in saying that there is a very small possibility that you could be utd. If you are concerned about it maybe see your gp. Good luck and I hope you get the answer you are looking. For! Xx

Thanks guys, I couldn't really remember how soon going off the pill that your cycle goes a little haywire lol I guess I am just curious cause I know that DH and I DTD during ovulation and he said he was careful but you just never know!! I am not sure whether I am better off on or off the pill, secretly I think DH wants me to be preggers lol The whole time I was late he was just like "relax, we will just take it as it comes" god love him lol I might just get a test in the next couple of days just to be 100% sure, thanks again.
I am also curious though about how common it is for you to be late and still have a period and be pregnant??

aren't DH's funny! My DH sounds the same! We are just in the end of the 2 week wait and I'm going insane and he's being so cute and is excited but trying to contain himself and I have been getting a bit upset when we don't manage to conceive.. But back to your question! It is very common to bleed on and off when in early preg buy if it is heavy, really clotty and really ruby red blood then I would maybe get a bit concerned and go to your GP, my bleeding presented in brown like old blood and a rose colored blood. I had what seemed to be a 'full' period when utd with DS and then spotted a bit too so anything is possible, have you had any other obvious symptoms? Although some women don't have noticeable symptoms. Have you noticed a change on your CM? If you are preg it will most likely be quite abundant and could feel like you have wet yourself, but in saying that again some women don't notice a change. Good Luck and let us know how you go!!
