Red face Teeth - probably a silly question :)

    Hi All

Just wondering how long it takes a baby tooth to come through once it has broken through the gum?

Funny how excited you feel when they cut their first one. I don't know why, but for some reason I feel really proud?!

Going by the kidlets at my mother's group, it seems to happen at different rates for different children and even changes between teeth. My DD's take 3-4 weeks to come all the way through.
Congrats on your little one's first tooth!

Once they're through, I find that they don't seem to trouble my DD's as much, except for molars, as they are so big and have a whole heap of points that need to push through (ouch, poor little things). The front teeth seem to take a week or two before they are fully out. Molars take a lot longer. Congrats on your bub's first tooth. It is a big milestone, even if it doesn't really mean anything except that they'll be able to eat easier I was proud too.....and now I get more and more excited as more come through because it means we are that much closer to the end of teething!!! LOL
