    A huge YAY for me!!

I just wanted to post some releif, I was diagnosed with GD after my first GTT last week and didnt like the result, as i was stressed that morning so i asked to sit another one. I did it yesterday and the result was perfect. NO GD!! I am so happy about that.

So my thing is if you are not 100% happy with your result and think there may be a chance that it was wrong sit the test again.

That is great news! Henci Goer says the same thing - the GD test is only reflective of that point in time, much like the GBS swab I suppose.

I got instructions from my doc on how to 'cheat' on the test

Have the meal before as far away from the test as possible, mostly. I was hungry and ended up having a bacon and spinach omelette for lunch that day - almost completely carb free. And got a 7.1! Yay! I flunked it last time lol

I personally think the drink is too big for some of us. Its one size, and if you're small or huge, you still get the same drink. They should do it by weight like they do most other things.

    A huge YAY for me!!

Being sick and a lack of sleep can alter the readings. I apparently had last time but my body went haywire on the insulin. My gp convinced my ob to take me off it and my levels were fine. Got the all clear this time thank goodness. Good on you for having a second test.
