Question Baby capsule question. Have I missed something.

DD is 9 months old and still in a capsule. She is only a little thing, 7.6kg. My capsule says up to 12kg. I was going to leave her in it until she seems too long for it then put her in a rearfacing convertible seat until she reaches 12kg. Everywhere I read capsules can be used up to the age of six months. Is there any reason capsules can't be used after that stage? I just want to make sure I haven't missed something that could effect DD's safety.

    Thanks for any replies.

They can be used until the weight range. Length is only torso length, not legs. DD3 is 11 months and still in her capsule.

Most say 6 months as usually by that age bubs is too big for the capsule, but I have quite a few friends whose bubs were smaller so they stayed in the capsule until they reached the weight limit or were too long

Can I ask which capsule it is, I am interested to know which one's go to 12 kg
