Just thought id come in and talk about my pregnancy rollercoaster, as sad as it makes me i feel i need 2 talk about it as not every1 understands wat i go through. I was on BB back in 2006, and remember how supportive ppl were and how i was able 2 vent and talk about my feelings and emotions after experience my 3rd m/c. And i thank every1 for the their wonderful words of support and encouragement, it meant alot
Well its now 4 yrs on....n i found out i was pregnant on the 21st April 2010, didnt think i would experience it again and much 2 my delight got a . Being in a new relationship with a wonderful man, i thought my luck had change. Experienced all the usual symptoms, sore bb's, m/s, peeing more than normal etc etc (mind u it lasted all day ) Thought everything was going like clockwork, even told my 16 yr old son, who was over the moon 2 b a big big brother.
But then the dreaded day came, on the 1st May 2010 (6 wks 1 day pg), started getting pink tinge of discharge when i wiped (sorry TMI) n just thought that it maybe implantation bleeding and dismissed it at that stage no cramps to speak of.....so remained optimistic.....but as the day went on the amount got a little brighter an had a flow if that sounds rite, by now i had slight cramps but didnt wanna think the worse, tearing up i tried 2 still b optimistic. By the next morning i had a steady flow n i had passed a clot (sorry again TMI). Went onto bleed 4 the next 7 days. But still had sore bb's and feeling a little queazy and not quite rite. So i held hope that maybe, i just had a haemorrage or sumthing n that maybe i was still pg. Then on the 19th May 2010, while attending my son's rugby grandfinal i developed a mild cramp and rushed 2 the toilet and notice a bit of blood on my knickers, and thought a lil strange, but i only bled 4 like 4hrs, still at that stage felt nauseaus and had semi-tender bb's, well it stopped that nite.
But since then have had pink tinge at times, then others it was brown mucousy discharge other times (sorry TMI) and it was only happening every 2nd day with a lil cramping before i noticed the tiniest amount of blood. Mind u still having queazy feeling an going 2 the toilet like what seems every half hour. Anyway went 2 the doctors yesterday he is doing my HCG levels, but didnt hold much hope 4 me, but he was sensitve about it. I go back 2 the doctors 2day 2 find out what is going on. He seems 2 think that it could b the rest of the placenta coming out, because i had the huge bleed on the 1st May 2010, i myself aint holding much hope either.
I guess what upsets me is that having my 4th m/c, i just wonder if i have ne hope of being a mum again, its like everytime i get it excited about the possibility of being pg its over before it starts . And my heart goes out 2 every1 that has suffered of continues 2 suffer recurring m/c's its a hard long road, goodluck 2 any1 that is having the same dilemma as me. Wishing all the ttc'ers i know the sad, and sometimes frustrating journey that u travel over and over again. Being through it 4 times, its like i know the vicious circle it creates and the helplessness and worthless u feel.
Anyway thank u for listening, believe when i say it has helped 2 talk and get it out.
Malibu - oh sweet girl. I am so sorry about all of your miscarriages, but especially your most recent. Greive for this baby as much as you need. Experiencing more than one loss doesn't make it any easier at all. Go gently on yourself. How is your partner and your son coping with their grief? Bug hugs. Don't forget, you're not alone. Take care.
I am really sorry to hear of your losses but hope you have more luck in the future!! I hope you are getting lots of hugs and support from family and friends.
We found out last week at our 13 week ultrasound that our baby had no heartbeat. We were so shocked as I thought everything was going well.
We have since found out that I had a partial molar pregnancy which is a rare condition and will require monitoring in the future. Does anyone know anything about this type of -pregnancy or know anyone that has gone through it. What upsets me the most is I don't know when we will be able to try again!!
Anne - Just found your story and am sending big hugs to you.
Willd - not sure if you will read this, but I have just been 'diagnosed' with a Partial Molar too, and like you am looking for others who have gone through this, if you want to chat, please contact me.
