Do we have a specific Angel?

As my title suggests iteself - is this right? Is there one type of Angel that we can talk to? Or do we just open up a conversation with them?

I believe so. I have seen an Angel guide down my way a couple of times and she has named my angels for me. As I know their names I can just start a conversation with them. I would assume though even if you did not know their names that you could do the same, maybe ask something like "The angels that look over me can you please give me a sign". The sign might be a feather for example.

You can talk to any and as many Angels (ie, Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Merlin, Metatron, etc) or Ascended Masters (ie, Jesus, Quan Yin, Mother Mary, Ganesh) as you want to really. You don't have to be religious to be able to talk to any other them, just have pure and sincere intention. If you get into working with Angels and Ascended Masters, you will learn that each has their 'special' field, ie, Archangel Raphael and Jesus for health and healing, Merlin for time, Metatron for children, etc.

Netix - where can I find more information on this please? I had a session recently and was surrounded by Angels and Ascended Masters but my knowledge is limited and I would like to know more.

Michelle, I go to a monthly 'meeting of angels' to learn more about it myself, and try to read up more on each angel. I have a set of Doreen Virtue's Angel Therapy oracle cards, which comes with a (good) explanatory guidebook. This could be somewhere for you to start (if you wanted cards), but there are many books on the topic. I will go out tomorrow and ask which would be a recommended book for you to learn more and let you know, if you would like. Cards are good, not only for doing readings, but for self affirmation.

Just having a quick look on Doreen Virtue's site, she has a book called "Archangels and Ascended Masters" which is described as a "lively encyclopedia", and "Angels 101" for "complete beginners" (amongst others). I have a book called "the Angel Bible" by Hazel Raven. It covers many different angels, clearing energy, meditation, crystals, etc, and is a good broad reference.

That's okay TD, I had to order mine through my local Collins. It only took a couple of weeks. I was looking at that app this morning! If you are interested in Angel cards, Doreen Virtue has lots of different ones, but one in particular is called (something along the lines of) daily messages from your angels. Extra good for affirmations.

    Michelle, will do for you.

There is a local "metaphysical" shop where i work. It is closing down, so i will definitely pop in tomorrow.

What did you think of the app? Would you recommend the cards or the app?

I am also very jealous of your "angels" class. I wonder if there are any down my way.

OH! Sounds great! If something catches your eye, sparkles at you, makes you just want to take it home, then its right for you. If they have celenite (pronounced "sell-en-ight", its white), that is a great thing to have on your bedside table. Its a wonderful clearing crystal.

I only had a quick look at the app, but I would stick with my cards, as I prefer the touch of them to something electronic.

I wish you could come to my angel group!

My local Angel Guide lady teaches course on Angels and reading Doreen Virtues Angel cards. One day, when I am a bit more financial I will do one or the other or both

i can vouch for Doreen Virtue's "Archangels and Ascended Masters". It is a wonderful book, with information on the archangels and masters such as what they represent, how to ask them for help, and it also has a section at the back of specific situations ie: weight loss, fertility problems, death of a loved one etc, and who specifically to speak to for help.

We have multiple decks of cards, crystals, and artwork, including a picture that was drawn by an angel artist, who communicated with her spirits and could see your own angels. It is in a big frame directly above our bed

Oops! I pressed the wrong button and lost my reply! I went past the shop yesterday (Monday) but they were closed (how odd), and didn't get the chance today. Hopefully will get to pop in tomorrow while the kids are in day care.
