    Question Airport security puppies

They ran a story on the news last night about looking after a puppy for a few months until they are old enough to be trained in airport security. I am interested in more info but i can't find any on the net... can anyone help?

I saw that too. Maybe check the website for the program you saw it on? They might have more info.

We saw it on the news last night and on the Today show this morning. My kids are nagging for a Customs puppy now. They are soooo cute, I'd love one but I couldn't give it up.

Just rang them and I live too far away.

Tinks, We would like a dog, but not 100% sure on how we would go, I thought it would be a good opportunity to see how well we coped.... Yu never know you might want to give it back... LOL

Tanya, you can also foster puppies for the Guide Dog association, maybe check out their website? I know I wanted to foster a puppy for them once when they put the call out, but I dont know if I'd be able to give it back!

    Oh that's a shame Tanya.
Often the cops need puppy walkers too (that just what their called, but it's the same).

Tanya - if you're wanting to foster dogs, check out your local shelter, they are always after people to foster-care dogs. Also get in contact with domestic violence support groups in your area - there are a lot of women who are looking for a safe haven for their pets when they leave a volatile situation.
