Question Has your 3 wheel pram tipped over?

Hi everyone, if you have a 3 wheel pram has it ever tipped over? If so was it a single or double pram? Thanks

I have a Beema Q and it has never ever tipped over. It has never tipped backwards either with the nappy bag nd all the other stuff i have attatched to it. I have just got a P&T dash and only used it a few times, it hasnt tipped either but i have only tried it with one child

My pram has tipped once but that was because my adorable DD decided to use it as a climbing frame. Using the pram correctly it has never tipped at all.

Only when DD1 climbed into the toddler seat at the back before I had put DD2 in the front - she hasn't ever done it again!

    What she said

Taking a tight corner on a very sloped (from left to right) footpath makes you really need to fight against it tipping though. No issues on good, flat surfaces.

i have a p and t sport and its never tipped over - even with the little one in the bottom seat and the front empty (which is in NO way recommended and is against proper usage rules). In this latter instance you can feel it getting very light in the front though and its propensity to tip so I tend to put some weight in the front seat if child can't be removed from back (due to sleeping) to prevent tipping accidently.

Never. I have a Valco Baby single seat three wheeler and even with the nappy bag hanging over the handles, its all good.

We had a valco baby 3 wheeler with toddler seat, wouldnt reccomend sharp slope-ing corners in it, i dont know how many times i thought i was going to be picking my babies up of the ground in!! it never happened, but scared me enought to get a different pram!

Thanks for your replies everyone I really like the P&T Dash but dh is pretty sold on the new baby jogger city select. I don't like the idea of it tipping over but apparently with anything that takes 2 kids there is a risk of tipping over but more so with a 3 wheeler. Anyway we have looked at the P&T and test driven them and are going to have a look at the city select next Friday so hopefully we can agree after seeing both. Thanks again girls

When I was nannying, I got to use a bunch of different prams, and the only one that ever tipped over was a four wheeler. When it had a dog attached to it. And no baby in it.

yup. My Mountain Buggy tips on a particular path near my house. Every time without fail. But I know it is a dodgy corner and it happens to everyone I know regardless of pram. It has also tipped when I overloaded the handle with a bag that was too heavy - even with DD in it. But that says more about me using the pram incorrectly than the ability of the pram!

Only once. I was walking up a slopy street and wasn't really controlling the pram properly. IT didn't tip over the whole way though as I stopped it just in time..

Mine is a single Love n care jogger

Generally I think if you walk on fairly flat surfaces then it should be fine. Where I was when it tipped was at the bottom of a car park in Bris. I should have walked straight up then across..

got a valco one to keep at home just to go for walks as the reserve near my house is very bushy & bumpy and it went to tipped numerous times. If going around a tightish corner or over a big bump so we got rid of it. Big big fan or my peg perego 4 wheeler

I always refused to have one coz I didn't like the thought of them. When mum borrowed one for me to use at her house DD2 climbed on it & it tipped & that just told me I'd made the right decision. With older kids I just can't risk it. But I did pick up a brand new Babyluv 3 wheeler for $35 for my beach walking, but have no plans to use it while the other kids are around to tip it, so it doesn't bother me. I'll still be getting a 4 wheeler for this bub.
I did have a very light weight 4 wheeler for DS & that tipped backwards all the time. Just coz it was too light. I didn't like that either.
