The chemist has ear plugs and also the ear silicone that you mould into the ear.
If it's for after the grommets Olive...I didn't with DS2. My ENT guy was pretty relaxed by it all and said that for the couple of days just don't immerse them in water (ie: pool) and be mindful in the bath.
You may find a swimming cap would do a good job if you put it over the ears??
We use the "doc's proplugs" for swimming with a cap over the top for added security as they fall out. We found these much gentler to insert as they are shaped to twist into the ear and have a Left and Right plug. There are different sizes but our ENT had some in his office and fitted a few sizes so he could tell us which were best. There is also a string joining the two plugs that goes behind the head so if one falls out, you don't lose it in the pool.
hun we have like a headband thing that goes over their ears to keep the water out. The swim centre suggested cheap blu-tack- not the real stuff but the yellow stuff you get from reject shop. Works better than ear plugs apparently esp with the headband over their ears as well

mwah
the ENT has some in his rooms, will check them out again when we have our post op check
det although id prefer a headband over the cap, im not sure that she'll keep it on in the pool, im thinking she'll just pull it off
