    Approved for Local Adoption at last!

    After years & years of TTC, IVF, Foster Parent approval, starting Permanent Care process (we completed the education groups) and the last year of Local Adoption training, asessment ect ect.........we have the 'FORMAL APPROVA'L for the adoption of an infant. This is where we are meant to be! Hopefully it will not be too long until we are placed

    So to anyone out there who is thinking about starting the process, do not be afraid, you will find out along the way if it is meant for you.

    In all my years of being on this forum, I always want to post in the 'pregnancy annoucement' part but never got to. Well I consider this my form of a pregnancy announcement!!

    Do you know how long it's expected to take from here?
    Unfortunately no. But we have some things in our favour for a placement sooner, rather than later.........so now we just wait for the magic phone call!
