Tips on how to give 8 week old some medication?

    Hey guys,
I posted this over at the reflux board but didn't get a huge response.

I just wondered if anyone has any magic tips on how to get an 8 week old to take liquid medication? She is on losec for her reflux the poor darling but the medication tastes DISGUSTING and she is hating taking it. She doesn't cry but has this look on her face like "why are you making me take this mummy" and it's really awful. I cry when I am giving it to her (but have to remind myself that it is helping her - which it is).
I asked the pharmacist if she could possibly add some flavouring to it but she said she couldn't so what I am doing is chasing the losec up with some Infant Friend as she really loves that stuff.

I have been giving it with a syringe but lots of it just comes pouring back out - I chase it all back with a spoon and she does get most of it but I just wondered if there was an easier way and if so - WHAT IS IT?????

    Thanks so much guys

She won't take the bottle at the moment, although I might try her again tonight with it.
    Thanks
